Hacettepe University within the framework of an integrated management and quality system
Although the activities carried out within the scope of social contribution constitute the strengths of Hacettepe University, the fact that it has a limited place in the 2018-2022 strategic plan has been considered as the most important area of improvement. In the 2023-2027 strategic plan, it is aimed to address all aspects of social contribution activities, to establish goals and objectives, and to prioritize monitoring and monitoring in order to maintain social contribution activities.
In order to achieve the targets set for social contribution activities and to realize the improvement suggestions determined within the scope of strategic plan follow-up, studies were carried out to structure the management and organizational processes related to social contribution practices and the Societal Contribution Coordinatorship was established. The establishment, duties and working procedures and principles of the Coordination Office are explained in the relevant directive.
(1) The Coordination Office consists of the Rector as Chair, the Vice Rector responsible for societal contribution, and members appointed by the Rector for a three-year term, including the Coordinator, the Deputy Coordinator, representatives from the Commission for Combating Addiction, the Gender Equality Commission, the Sustainable Development Goals Commission, the Health Services Unit Executive Board, the Sustainable Campuses Coordination Office, the Disabled Student Unit, the Institute of Population Studies, and the Director of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports.
